The Amalfi Coast in Italy. What a wonderful meeting of land and sea. Picturesque town after town set into the hillsides with the Mediterranean for a view. Gorgeous place for photography and Positano is especially photogenic. Especially at dusk.

I’ve wanted to photograph the Amalfi Coast for quite awhile. In January of 2019 Karen & I were able to make it happen and spent two weeks in Italy. It was a bit chilly and rainy but it was still a great trip. Except we both got terrible colds. The off season is a great time to go because the crowds are gone. This photograph is actually a composite of several moments in time. Sunset through blue hour when the city lights come on. It’s a blend of the entire experience from watching the sun set until the light is almost gone and the city lights make the town glow.

This fine art print is created on 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin-free, archival paper along with top quality Lucia Pro pigment inks. This heavy stock paper is a joy to print on and hold in your hands. It is personally printed by me and hand signed and dated. Currently available in three paper sizes. Actual image size is slightly less due to the white print borders.

The print is packaged in a beautiful presentation box which is then enclosed in a sturdy shipping box for protection. Due to its size, the 17″x25″ version is shipped in a sturdy tube rather than a presentation box. Included is a certificate of authenticity and use and care recommendations.
